Overview

We’d like to take a few minutes to tell you about an exciting new feature we’ve just added to our website. You can now buy all of our in home services and book your appointment online without having to pick up the phone, or visit a store. It’s all part of our ongoing drive to make fixing, installing and using your gadgets and technology as simple as possible.

We have a number of in home services that you can buy online right now. Click on the services below to learn more and to make a purchase.

*Wired/Wireless Network Installation includes 1 PC connected to a router. Additional PCs and Devices can be installed for £19.99 each. We’ll discuss your requirements when we call to arrange the installation appointment.

+ These services are carried out by partner companies. Once payment has been received you will need to call them to book an appointment.

Can I buy an in store service online?

At the moment you can only buy in-home services online. If you require an in-store service please visit your local PC World store. We’ll be launching in-store services over the coming months to make our service even easier.

How can I pay for my service?

We currently accept secure payments through Bibit (part of The Royal Bank of Scotland) using the cards listed below:

Once I purchase a service what happens next?

This depends on what you have purchased; we’ve included a brief rundown of what you can expect below.

You’ll receive an automated emails which confirm your payment, the service you ordered and your order number. We’ll send our emails from noreply@thetechguys.com so you may need to add this to your Junk Mail approved list.
You’ll receive a second email within 1 business day to confirm your appointment. If we are unable to make the date you chose we’ll call you and make alternative arrangements.
If you purchased more than 1 service we’ll call you within 1 business day to discuss your appointment requirements.
If you purchased Wired/Wireless Network Installation we’ll call you to discuss your installation requirements. If you need more than 1 PC we’ll take additional payments over the phone at £19.99 per device. We’ll also book an appointment for us to visit you.
If you purchased iPod in car, Digital Aerial or Freesat installations you’ll need to contact our partner companies to book an appointment slot with them.
